If you didn't attend, you missed a great party. Here is a photo-essay of the festivities.

Saturday, AUGUST 15, 2009

Note: The Town Office has a nearly hour-long DVD of many of the day's festivities currently for sale for $9. Not sure if they mail it. Their phone # is 207-277-3241 MWF 8-Noon.

We started off with a parade at 9am on a beautiful hot summer day - see photos. The Cambridge 175th Anniversary USPS Postal Cancelations were available 8:30 - 10:30 - also below. Flag raising, time capsule, musicians, BBQ with a cow, hamburgers, hot dogs, salads, and more than enough to eat. What made it even more amazing was that everything was free for the day for everyone who came to celebrate the town's birthday. A big thank you to those who organized the event - the town officials, historical society members, and all the sponsors who made it possible.
