Source for this child is an open space acc to the census, AND a Thomas

Same photo, with Daniel Leavitt inserted. |
Cousin Ginga Furlotte sent these photos and notes
May 2006: This is a photo of Daniel's sister Florence F Leavitt
Merrill (confirmed) [both children of Joseph D & Loann], his niece Viva
D. Merrill (confirmed), and quite possibly his mother Loann
(supposition). Thus, the woman in the middle of the photo is Florence F.
Leavitt Merrill. The child is her daughter.
Viva appears to be approximately 7 years old in the
photo. If so, the year would have been 1895. Florence would have been
age 35 and Loann age 56 (note: Loann died at age 73). The two women
appear to resemble one another, particularly on close-up view in Adobe
PhotoShop. I am also attaching a photo of Daniel that I have added to
the original. Look at the shape of the face. |
